Technology & Service Cluster

The Technology and Service Cluster is comprised of employers working together to raise community awareness of and interest in Information Technology/Customer Service related occupations in Vermilion County.

The Information Technology/Customer Service Cluster originated in 2000. This group employs from 1 to 544 workers, providing diverse services like temporary staffing, banking, insurance claim processing and computer networking to name a few. Hiring projections from this group indicate that from January 2007 to January 2009 the following positions will be in demand:
IT Coordinators, Customer Service Reps, Bookkeeper/Accounting/Audit Clerks, Administrative Assistants, Clerks/General Office, Accountants/Auditors, Outside Sales Representatives, Human Resource Assistants, Clerks/Medical, Receptionists, and Tellers.
