Technology & Service Cluster

The Technology and Service Cluster is comprised of employers working together to raise community awareness of and interest in Information Technology/Customer Service related occupations in Vermilion County.

The Information Technology/Customer Service Cluster originated in 2000. This group employs from 1 to 600 workers, providing diverse services like temporary staffing, banking, insurance claim processing and computer networking to name a few. Hiring projections from this group indicate that from January 2011 to January 2012 the following positions will be in demand:
Clerks/General Office, Customer Service Reps, Sales Reps, Administrative Assistants, Receptionists, Computer Systems Analysts, Human Resource Assistants, Tellers, Bookkeeper/Accounting/Audit Clerks, and Management/Supervisors.
