Manufacturing & Logistics Cluster
Manufacturing and Logistics, the creation of and movement of
products from inception to the consumer does indeed 'propel the pipeline of
commerce' both nationally and globally!
This cluster is comprised of employers ranging from 12 employees to several
hundred; from metal fabrication, plastics, food and chemical to national and
regional distribution hubs for food products. It is the largest and most
comprehensive of the three clusters. Formerly separate clusters, Logistics
and Manufacturing were merged in 2004 to complement the definition and
significance of supply chain management.
Hiring projections from this group indicate that
