Health Care Cluster

The Health Care Cluster is the newest of Vermilion Advantage's Business Clusters, originating in July 2001. As with the other clusters, Health Care participants have united as a single voice to stimulate community awareness of and interest in health care related occupations in Vermilion County.

Hiring projections from this group indicate that from January 2009 to January 2011, the following positions will be in demand for the largest growing sector:
Registered Nurses, Nursing Aides (CNAs), LPNs, Physicians/Surgeons, Physician Assistants, Food Prep Workers, Medical Billers & Clerks, Receptionists, Lab Technicians, Radiology Technicians, Physical & Respiratory Therapists, Medical Secretaries, Medical Social Workers, EMTs/Paramedics, and Claims Representatives.
